Activities

These are especially helpful for those who have no home and want to “play” and for those who are isolated in tiny single room occupancy apartments. These activities provide an opportunity to engage in healthy activity and build good relationships.

Rose Riddles: Tuesdays 9am-Noon during Hospitality
A volunteer makes available crossword puzzles, word scrambles, and other mind teasing puzzles for prizes. Collaborating with others to solve these is encouraged.

Bingo: Wednesdays 10-11:30am during Hospitality
Guests may join our Bingo parlor for socializing, laughter and prizes. Other games are also available to play during any hospitality time.

Manicures & Foot Care: Offered during Hospitality when adequate staffing is available.
These sessions provide an opportunity for safe “touch” and a time to feel better about one’s appearance. Foot soaks and reflexology for those tired feet are periodically available.

On Site Nurses: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays 9am-Noon when staffing is available. On-site nurses are available to assist with basic medical care questions.
