Hospitality

Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9am – Noon

Women and children are provided a safe and warm place to gather at Rose Haven four days a week. During hospitality guests are invited to enjoy the community setting and companionship rarely experienced while living on the streets.

Community and time to let down one’s guard for a little time is always a priority during hospitality time. However, we encourage ongoing choices that move the guests toward housing, and seeking employment or other funding so as to not only obtain but retain a home.

When guests arrive they choose which activity they would like to participate in for the day. They can participate in a class or healing group, receive clothing and hygiene items, check their mail, use the phone, eat a healthy meal, rest for a while, or just talk with their friends, volunteers, and staff. They may also schedule an appointment to work with an onsite advocate on any issue that the guest might be struggling with.

Rose Haven’s hospitality is focused on meeting each woman where she is in her life and providing support for our guests to see all the opportunities available to them in life.
