Tutoring: By appointment & during Hospitality
GED or general math/grammar tutoring- Each tutoring session is based on the individual guest's skills and levels of need. One on one tutoring is a great way to focus on areas of learning that are more difficult for an individual.

Budgeting: By appointment & during Hospitality
A guest can meet with an advocate or set up a time to meet with a volunteer to review her current budget and obtain advice or assistance with how to contact creditors to set up payment plans. Help is available for everything from how to balance checking accounts to clues in saving for a rental deposit.

Forms Completion:  By appointment & during Hospitality
Assistance with completing school forms or other types of information forms needed as part of enrolling in school, obtaining food handler license, school financial forms is available.

Health Care & Nutrition: By appointment & during Hospitality
Different current health topics are taught by nursing students and their instructors. Among them are basic health care, diabetes, coping skills, menopause, blood pressure and women’s health care. We also hold periodic immunization clinics offering seasonal flu, pneumonia and tetanus vaccines.

Makeup and Skin Care: Once a Month (see calendar)
Sessions with experienced estheticians are provided for guests. They can learn ways to use everyday, inexpensive items to cleanse and moisturize their skin as well as how to apply makeup that is right for them. Each guest is given a small makeup bag containing basic items such as mascara, lipstick, foundation and eye shadow.
