Services

Rose Haven serves women and children of all ages, regardless of need. Our guests come with a myriad of needs and they are immediately triaged. Rose Haven staff and volunteers form a compassionate and supportive team for women who are traumatized by homelessness, abuse, and other disruptive life challenges. Rose Haven is a comfortable, safe place for our guests. When a woman comes to Rose Haven she signs in at the intake desk and chooses what activates or needs she wants to address that day. On each woman’s first visit to Rose Haven she will have an intake meeting with an advocate. The intake process allows the woman the opportunity to tell her story to an advocate, make any needs she has known, and make follow up appointments if needed. During the intake process the guest does not have to share anything she does not want to; our guests guide the process. We honor each woman we are fortunate enough to meet. Once a woman has done an intake she can take advantage of all the services that Rose Haven has to offer. See more details about specific services offered. Rose Haven currently provides support for an average of 50-75 women and children a day. In 2010 Rose Haven had more than 7,000 visits from those in need and served over 1300 women and children during that year. Rose Haven provides a trusting and respectful environment for our guests to explore the choices they have in life and be treated with dignity while sharing themselves with us. We provide, through a reflection of trust and mutual respect, the foundation on which personal healing and healthy choice making begin.
