Volunteer

Hospitality:  (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30am-12:30pm and Thursdays 9am-Noon)
Help us assist our community by serving guests food and socializing for a few hours. Or, help our
women and their children in selecting clothing and toiletries on their "shopping day" in the Rose
Haven Shop. During this time, you can also share your skills by facilitating classes, groups and activities including tutoring, jewelry making, crafts, job searches, budgeting and more.

Organizational Help: (flexible times)
Help sort, stock and organize the donations we receive each week at the Rose Haven shop. It is important these donations get into the shop as soon as possible so they are available to our shoppers.

Events: Special events are a great way to raise funds and create awareness for Rose Haven. The Bouquet of Hope is our largest fundraiser and it takes many volunteers to make it a success. Help with this event, host a house party or a community awareness activity.

Graphic Art: Volunteers are needed to help create fliers for our classes and groups and outreach materials.

Medical Consulting: (Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays 9am-Noon)
Nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners and other experienced health care people needed to staff our medical consulting office during hospitality hours.

In-Kind Donations: Stock our shop with clothing and hygiene items for the more than 60 women and children who shop each week. Volunteers are needed to reach out to organizations, schools and the community for donated items.

Ongoing Committees: Serve on one of our committees - development, outreach, advisory or board of directors.
